Tier 2 City Students Trump Tier 1 Peers In Employability: Study

The same survey inquired employers also, the single most important factor they want in their prospective employees. Employers were given options like numerical and logical ability, domain expertise, communication, cultural fitment, integrity and values, result orientation, adaptability, interpersonal skill, learning agility.

From employers’ point of view, the factors listed as priorities among candidates are domain expertise, integrity, interpersonal skills and learning agility.

Uttar Pradesh has been the hub of English candidates, best in logical and numeric ability students and also qualifies for computer knowledge.

Among states, best performance in English has been seen in Uttar Pradesh followed by Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and West Bengal.

For logical and numeric ability, the state listing is Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Kerala, Gujarat, Karnataka, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.

For computer skills Uttar Pradesh topped the list followed by Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Gujarat.
