This Hotel Management College was established in April 1963. The official website of IHM Kolkata states: “The whole gamut of hospitality and hotel operations is covered in specific fields like Food Production, Patisserie, Food & Beverage Service, accommodation Operation, Front Office etc”. The college offers Craftsmanship courses, post graduate diploma and a BSc degree.

Established in 1972, Institute Of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition-Ahmedabad Society was set up by Ministry of Tourism Government of India. The college provides knowledge and training for expertise on the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping and providing managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety and Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.

Christ University, Bangalore

The Hotel Management Department of Christ University was set up in 1991. The institution has put forth a diploma course in wine studies which is the first of the kind in the country. The college offers Certificate courses, diploma courses and a full time BSc course.
