Bangalore: What it takes to create a company where there is a culture of respect, reward and recognition? It would take a mammoth effort to create a working atmosphere where employees would love their work and would always want to stay on. Answering these, Business Today has released its latest list of “the Best Companies to Work for,” the results of which is based on an Indicus Analytics survey spanning 6,176 employees - 12 percent of them women - across 4,436 companies in 323 towns and cities. The ranks scored by each company were computed and the top ranked organization got an index score of 100 and the scores acquired by the other companies were indexed to the score of the top ranked company.

Tata Consultancy Services: The first Position is grabbed by the Tata Consultancy Services with an index score of 100, as India’s best company to work for in the Business Today- Indicus analytics annual survey. It is reported that the company records the lowest attribution rate in the IT sector because a wide variety of employee engagement initiatives. Owned by the Tata Group this company is the second largest in India providing business process outsourcing services. TCS is the largest technology service company in India by revenue and market capitalization. The company offers clubs facilities for trekking, music, dance, photography, quiz, etc. It also extends compensation benefits and conducts an annual survey called 'Pulse', which goes worldwide and supports 4-5 languages and the inputs are collected. TCS offers promotion to its employees and it is considered as recognition in India.
