Earlier, campaigning of the US President Donald Trump staged an uncertain situation with the possibility of limited outsourcing to the US. But, the new finding will turn out to be a relief for job seekers in the IT domain.
The Experis IT Employment Outlook Survey foresee a scenario where the hiring will be increased by 34 pct in south and 20 pct in west (20pct), followed by 18 and 3 pct in north and east respectively. Evaluating the current market trend, the survey also indicates that the software development is in high demand, and companies will primarily focus on hiring people with a combination of both complex and niche skills.
According to a statement given to the TOI by Manmeet Singh, President of Experis IT, there will be a constant need to up-skill and re-skill the job seekers due to the ever-rising demand for talented professionals in the IT companies and startups; as well as in the emerging automation and artificial intelligence arena. “To tide over the shortage in skilled IT talent, firms are increasingly hiring IT professionals on contract, as it's cost-effective, and improves flexibility and agility of companies,” adds Singh.
