New Jobs Expected in the Coming Six Months
BENGALURU: If you are the one looking for a job, then there’s some good news that would bring a smile on your face. Indicating an upward trend in hiring activities, over 77 percent of recruiters and consultants expect creation of new jobs in the coming six months, according to a survey by Naukri.com.
Job portal Naukri.com's latest ‘Hiring Outlook Survey’ showed that IT, ITeS, retail and BFSI are expected to be at the top of the pile for these new employment opportunities. "77 percent of recruiters expect new jobs to be created in the coming six months," it reported.
The results which are based on responses from over 1,300 recruiters and consultants from various industrial backgrounds expect around 51 percent of these new jobs to be created at the middle management level.
V Suresh, Chief Sales Officer, Naukri.com said that the job market in the current scenario continues to sustain the momentum generated in the first half of this year and is all set to head upwards. "Around 77 percent of the respondents are confident of new job creation in the second half of 2016," he reiterated.
Another important feature to come out of this survey is the fact that 52 percent of the respondents expected the attrition rate to remain the same, while 32 percent were positive that it would come down as compared to the first half of 2016.
Furthermore, the report added that better salaries, personal growth, and a desire to strike work-life balance remain the major driving forces behind change of jobs.
