Majority Pct of Grievance Seen In Job-Seekers Aged 20-29
BANGALORE: A recently published Census 2011 data disclosed the grievances in around 120 million people's productive lives who were looking out or waiting for work. The status showed that’s practically 11pct of the population that excludes under-5 children, reports TOI.
However about half of the pct were unemployed while the rest were marginal workers, perhaps employed six months of less in a year’s span. Conversely the cause of worry is brought about by unemployment or under-employment of youth, with the educated youngsters facing the worst plight. Around a quarter of youth aged between 20 to 24 years were job seekers while 25 to 29 years age group onwards was marked at 17pct.
The Census data further revealed the dark path of India's employment among women, where women add up to about 60pct of non-workers who are looking for employment. The data brushes away the stereotypical order where women prefer to tend to domestic duties and not work. As a matter of fact women take up close to half of all kinds of job seeking employment while in the mean time they hold an employee workforce of a mere 31pct.
Secondary or matriculation level that include graduates who are 16pct job seeker , non-technical graduates seeking work at 14pct are found to take a 15pct in seeking availability altogether. They make up to just about 14pct of the total 190 people at the educational level of the country. Provided by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnics, the section of job seekers is the maximum with certificate or diploma in technical courses.
