Inuit India Announced Expanded Benefits for Parenthood
BANGALORE: Inuit India the IT Company which is headquartered at Bangalore offers online accounting software to help small businesses. The company has been putting numerous efforts over the years in order to claim them as an employee friendly organization. In the recent times as per the government rules the duration for paid paternity leave has been increased to 26 weeks from the earlier 12 weeks. Thus even the private firms are trying to come up with benefits for those employees who are welcoming parenthood. Inuit India has announced a list of benefits for employees in the early weeks of parenthood, reports Times of India Tech.
As per the new benefits announced at Intuit, from January 1 paid maternity leave has been increased to 26 weeks from 12. Paternity leave, earlier given for five working days, will now be given for 15 working days. Adoption leave will also be provided for 26 weeks from the previous 12. Adoption leave is agnostic of gender and will be provided to all employees adopting children. Even companies like Flipkart, Adobe and Accenture have also increased the maternity leaves.
