Bangalore: A majority of Indian corporate executives are reported to leave their present jobs within the next five years. An average of 60 percent Indian executives are said to leave their current jobs while the global average is 44 percent by the survey conducted by U.S. based global management consultancy Hay Group.

The new study have found another interesting fact that one-third of the Indian executives have planned to change their office in next two years. In employees’ engagement levels, Indians are accounted for 68 percent and the most engaged employees in Asia where as the study found Latin Americans are the most engaged employees with engagement levels of 73 percent.  The report has also revealed that just two-thirds of the employees are engaged, globally.

Gaurav Lahiri, Managing Director, Hay Group (India) says “It is a worrying sign that Indian organizations, despite averaging higher engagement levels than the Asia average, find that only about 40 percent intend to remain loyal to their present organizations in the next five years. Frustrated employees are unlikely to persist over the long-term in this state. Clearly, the opportunities currently available for organizations to improve the bottom line by actively engaging the workforces have never been so good – and the time to act is now.”
