IIM-B's Masters Programmes Rank best in Central Asia

BENGALURU: Proud moment for Bengaluru as one of its top intuition, The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) topped  as the best management school in central Asia region for the year 2015-16, as well as three of its masters programmes ranking the best in central Asia.  The survey was conducted by Eduniversal, a Paris-based international ranking agency in higher education, reports TOI.

The IIM-B got Best Masters Ranking for three of its programmes,  two-year postgraduate in management (PGP), one-year postgraduate programme in public policy and management (PGPPM), one-year fulltime residential Executive Postgraduate Programme (EPGP).

Many students and companies across the world choose the institutions based on these rankings. The rankings by Eduniversal determine the quality of an institution, its programmes and graduates. Every year this ranking evaluates over 12,000 postgraduate programmes. The final ranking is determined through a global survey of 5,000 international recruiters, 800,000 students and over 10,000 representatives from 1,000 academic institutions in 154 countries.

Ishwar Murthy, dean faculty of IIM-Bangalore, said: "The global ranking highlights the academic excellence of IIM-B's programmes. We have renewed our presence as the top management school in central Asia, having been recognized as the number one business school in this zone."
