Calicut is one such city that is gaining traction over retail and manufacturing industries and with ‘Make in India’ the harbour has better prospects ahead of it. With harbour on one side and malls and market on the other, Calicut is an ideal location to settle down. Kick-starting a new life in the beach town adorned by a beautiful coastline is indeed a good sign.

7. Bhopal

Moving to a smaller city is not a bad idea and here is why, they are small, less crowded, green and the concept of relations still exist. Bhopal has just the right thing we need, a great city for media and engineering professionals, and a life amidst the nature’s best—lakes, forests, national parks, so you might as well get to breathe in fresh air. So why go to Delhi or Mumbai for a living?
