1. Start taking in charge:
Yes, it is always good for you to start taking immediate in charge of your position as a boss of your own ex-peers even though you find it very difficult to be their boss. You need to gradually start establishing your authority upon them, so that, they get to know that you no longer can be a friend with them inside the office and make them realize that they need to bow to your orders. By this, they naturally get adjusted to your new designation and start respecting your position as their boss.
