Winemaker—$50-66,000
For those who enjoy spending time outdoors and love sipping wine, a career as a winemaker couldn’t be a perfect fit.
A winemaker, also known as an enologist or vintner, oversees the entire production process of creating wine, including grape harvesting, crushing, fermentation, aging, blending and bottling. Since they have their hands on caring for the plants and harvest, it is good for individuals to have a related interest in agriculture to make things easy. Winemakers usually work in well-established wineries, or buy a vineyard and open their very own winery.
Food Taster—$58,000
This is surely the best job in this list. Instead of spending your hard-earned money on buying some expensive food, why not earn some big bucks from tasting them? Well that sounds fun right! Since every major food-producing corporation needs a team of tasters, from ice cream companies to cereal makers, all you need is a good taste bud to get things rolling. Having said that being a food taster is fun, but it isn’t as easy as it sounds. However, the profession pays as good as any corporate job, and offers a much better career in terms of growth. Amazing isn’t it!
