Average Hours Per Week: 36 Hrs

Like some of the other countries in the European Union, the government of Italy has backed and encouraged work-sharing since ages.
The average work week in the country is around 36 hours and maximum work week for full-time employees can reach up to 40 hours, plus an overtime limit of 8 hours. If any employer exceeds this limit, they are liable for fines.
Workers in the county are also permitted to take a minimum of four weeks of paid vacation every year.
