The invasion of new technologies has put aside old and lumberjack is one such profession that is bearing the brunt.
Increased mechanization of logging operations and improvements in logging equipment has had a direct impact on this field, and as a result this has given rise to lesser demand for timber-cutting and logging workers who work manually.
As the world becomes more digital, less work is done on paper and that in turn has translated to fewer workers needed for hard copy printing jobs. According to the BLS report employment of logging workers is projected to decline by 9 percent by 2022.
Flight attendant

Hiring Outlook By 2022:-7 percent
The recession has been hard on airlines. Cutbacks on the number of flights offered, as well as airline mergers, have pushed this industry towards crisis. According to the BLS report as there is virtually no change in job prospects, the airline industry continues to consolidate and reduce staff, therefore the flight attendants have a 7 percent decline hiring outlook. With the future being digital, the employment opportunities for tax examiner and collectors certainly looks bleak and disappointing. And rubbing salt into the wounds of these professionals is the government agencies that have stopped hiring tax examiners and collectors significantly because of budget constraints.
The BLS report notes that employment for these workers is expected to decline by 4 percent by 2022. As the field depends primarily on future changes to local, state, and federal government budgets, the employment prospects could be even more disappointing as newer technologies try to take over the industry.
