It’s quite obvious that not only HBS but all the top B-schools as well as lower ranked universities shoot out this common question to know what the institution’s reputation holds in a candidates mind. So when asked why Harvard, it’s quite sure that interviewers are looking for that one good reason and candidates should make sure they tap on that information to get through.
Question #3 What do you want to do after you get your MBA?
There is no doubt that earning an MBA can be exciting because most of the time you’re surrounded by like-minded people who come from all walks of life, all striving to achieve success. But when asked what do you want to do after you get your MBA? Not many candidates pull this off question with sharp answers but rather give general angle to it. So in order to get into a high profile B-school like Harvard it’s very important for candidates to understand what an MBA can reasonably expect to do for you.
