79 Percent of Indian Workers Consider Career Luck

Seventy percent of U.S. professionals who responded in the survey believed that the number one most important factor attribute to luck is, "strong work ethic,"

"With St. Patrick's Day upon us, we thought that evaluating what professionals can do to enjoy that proverbial 'Luck of the Irish' in their careers would be a fun and useful exercise," said LinkedIn's connection director, Nicole Williams. "It's clear from the results that you need to make your own luck to succeed. Nothing beats being proactive and building a strong network!"

Further, according to the survey Japan grabs the top position amongst the fifteen countries that have the best career luck. As 73 percent Japanese professionals who responded in the survey felt slightly luckier or much luckier than other professionals.  U.S. was ranked the seventh "luckiest" nation, with 49 percent of respondents saying that they felt slightly or much luckier than other professionals. On the other hand only 44 percent of the respondents from Australia felt luckier than other professionals.
