Graphic designers are professionals who plan, analyze and create visual solutions to problems associated online or print mediums. These professionals use their proficiencies to come out with the most effective means to get the message across in print, electronic or other mediums. Using various print and layout techniques these professionals fuse a variety of combinations of color, type, illustrations, animation or photography to create an overall layout and production design of journals, newspapers, magazines, corporate reports and other publications.

Creativity, an eye for details, proficient problem solving and designing skills, along with efficient communications skills are some of the prized possessions of a graphic designer. 

A Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree along with postsecondary training in graphic designing is required to land an entry level job in this line of work.
