If I am shortlisted, how soon do I have to join?
If you are not working you concentrate on other priorities in life alongside hunting for a better job; and if you are working you abide by the company rules and time of your current employer. So, before hopping on to a better job opportunity, be clear upon your availability dates to the future employer as time is precious to all.
After a successful interview do ask the time frame in which you need to join the new job, and just don’t rush and delay your joining because of your notice period being served in the last office.
