1. Do not arrive late for the interview: Being late for the interview often frustrates the hiring manager; moreover, even if your excuse is genuine they will tend to think that you are lying in order to hide your mistake. So try to reach on time for the job interview, do every possible thing to reach there on time. At the same time you should also avoid reaching the interview venue too early as if you show up too early, the hiring manager might think that you are too desperate for the job. To be on the safer side show up for the job interview at least 5-10 minutes early.
