As per the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statics) report, employment opportunities for these professionals is expected to grow at a staggering rate of 31 percent, which is faster than the average for all the professions. Also, the ongoing research linking general health and oral health is likely to continue, which is bound to further increase the demand for this professionals. 

Aspirants need to attend a two year program at an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India to land a job in this profession.
