J. J. School of Architecture

The Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art is considered as the first college of architecture studies in Asia and the oldest art institute in the country. The School which is located in Mumbai is affiliated with the University of Mumbai from 1981. The school grants Bachelor's degree in fine art and sculpture, and Master's degree in fine art. The institute is considered one of the foremost institutions of Architecture in India and is a recognized college of architecture all over the world.

Department of Architecture, IIT Roorkee

The Architecture Course was started at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the year 1956-57. It imparts high quality education in the professional fields of Architecture and Planning. The Department has the singular distinction of being the first in India in instituting a Masters Degree course in Architecture (M. Arch.). The Institute takes very special care in selecting students for admission to various academic programmes with the objective of providing technical education only to the best ones.
