The unique course of the rising artist will be offered during the spring, summer and fall semesters and it is made available only to students who formally register at the University of South Carolina.
This course will mainly focus on elements that helped in the rise of Lady Gaga’s popularity to her status as becoming a pop music icon as well as highlight some of the sociologically relevant dimensions of the fame of Lady Gaga. Some of the other devoting specific attention to fame includes the role of business, marketing, law and legalities, old and the new media, fans and live shows and many more.
