HR is not interested in listening to your life story:
HR starts the interview by asking you to talk about what are you and some more briefings. It actually means he wants to know about your schooling, higher education, work experience, achievements and your hobbies. This is a weapon they use to check your communication skill and how expressive you are. Don't ever go beyond these for giving the answers. Don't give irrelevant details about yourself which is of no worth as this may bore the HR and assume that you too weak in interaction.
