Another South American country, Bolivia makes a 22 percent gender gap in employment. Employment rate in Bolivia is comparatively less; as only 52 percent males are working either full-time or part-time and just 30 percent females are reported to be employed.

In 2008, Bolivia has been confirmed as an illiteracy free country, according to UNESCO standards and it has become the fourth Latin American country with this status. The main official language here is Spanish, even though there are other 37 native languages.

In nominal terms, Bolivian economy is considered as the 95^th largest economy in the world.
