According to the Bureau of labor statistics, between 2012 and 2022, employment in this field is expected to drop by 12 percent.

Why It's In Crisis: No surprises here! It can simply be said that technology is replacing people. And with some of the newer technologies coming in it would make even more challenging for these agents as individuals now like to be updated on their phones and emails rather than going the traditional way.
