Becoming a skilled programmer is definitely a long time process. But learning HTML, JavaScript, or CSS is possible over a few weekends. Many organizations facilitate weekend courses in order to allow professionals to learn the different computer languages and their uses. A basic web design can be learnt and used to design website for start ups and bag some money in near future.

Volunteer Locally:
Volunteer anything you are skilled in next weekend. Let others around you participate. While their participation fee makes you an extra earning, altogether you can have fun with the people of your choice doing what you like. It can be a painting session with kids, or cricket for the fathers of the house or some parlor session for the divas around you. You can volunteer to spend some time in orphanages or old age homes. Here the return is not money but you can get immense pleasure  which is more valuable than money.
