5 Job Prospects in India That Does Not Require a College Degree

Politician:

A significant portion of India’s politicians barely made it through high school. Evidently, politics is an area where non degree holders can work in alongside visionary scientists, lawyers, engineers and criminals (34 percent of Lok Sabha MPs have criminal charges against them). Yet, a viable entry in to politics would be through active participation in student unions that pose as extension of political parties. However, the topic of politicians possessing minimum education qualification has not even been up for discussion let alone being put up for debate. The lack of inner party democracy makes it difficult for aspiring politicians to climb up the ladder irrespective of their dedication and contribution. They are also ineligible for salary until they’ve become a Member of Parliament (MP). Any individual (degree holder or not) ought to address the responsibilities at home before aspiring to claim responsibility for running the nation. Venturing into politics is thus entirely different from straying into it.
