In July 2012, Marissa Mayer came into the limelight when she became the youngest CEO of a Fortune 500 company at the age 37. She broke her 13 years association with Goggle to become President and CEO of Yahoo!
Marissa Mayer was also named as 14th most powerful business women in America by Fortune magazine for the year 2012.
In the year 1999, Mayer started at Google as the first female engineer at the firm. While at Google, she was instrumental in the development of products such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and iGoogle.
