5 Entrance Exams Worth Taking To Get Into Top Indian B-Schools

Though the economic uncertainty had created a significant slump in the number of grads taking this entrance exam, but that does not mean that the MBA aspiration is wearing out. XAT 2015 will be conducted on January 4, 2015.Top colleges accepting the scores of this exam are XLRI Jamshedpur, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Xavier Institute of Management, Great Lakes Institute of Management, XIMB Bangalore, Sydenham Institute of Management Studies Research and Entrepreneurship Education. The XLRI Business Management program has a median XAT conversion score of 99 percentile.
SNAP
Being conducted on the 21st of December this year, SNAP has comparatively easier questions than compared to its tougher cousins—CAT and XAT. However, as nothing comes easy, the high cut-offs make it a true test of speed and fast calculations.
Sitting for this exam helps you gain an entry in colleges that include SIBM Pune, Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and many others. Till last year, candidates were shortlisted on the basis of their SNAP scores. This year onwards, it is said that candidates’ past academic records will also be considered. The composite percentile cutoff for SIBM, Pune is 97.6 - 97.8 percent, and goes on decreasing in other Symbiosis colleges.
