       If you don’t get much time with your family because of your job load or timings try this career path. The job of a professor is very peaceful and the timings are very flexible, plus the vacation period is an added bonus. Their tasks include researching; teaching; giving lectures and seminars on the subjects they are specialized; perform advance research on their subjects; ; mentoring graduate students; and more. Different positions under this career consist of assistant professor (junior), assistant professor, assistant professor (senior), and professor and so on. Pay scales are different for each positions and it mainly depends on the qualification and experience. Recognition and respect are equally achieved in this field. To become a professor you need to have a post-graduation and must attain a doctorate.

As the pay scale differs according to the position an assistant professor gets around 2.23 lakh to 4.69 lakh per annum and professors get around 4.90 lakh to 8.04 lakh per annum.
