4 Out Of 10 Indian Employees Believe Their Boss Have Scope for Improvement

BENGALURU: Research by Career Builder India brings out that 38per cent of Indian employees believe that they can do their boss’s work. That is, they can perform what their boss is working currently. 4 out of every 10 Indian working professional believe the same.

The survey was conducted among 1019 professionals of whom, 70percent marked their boss’s performance in A or B grades. 7 percent even got this down to D and F.

26 percent of the same class of professionals believes that their boss should not be in the leadership role or lack leadership qualities, reports Business Insider. 

When inquired ground at which bosses can improve their workings, 57percent agreed to the ground of recognizing and appreciating the work by their subordinates.

Professionalism in work was the greatest talent of Indian bosses as recognized by the same set of officials. 62 percent of the total group shared the same thought.

Managing Director of CareerBuilder India, Premlesh Machama, commented "Managers are often the ones assessing employee performance, but it's just as important for managers to solicit regular feedback from employees regarding their own performance, he further added that the best managers make an effort to understand what their employees need from them in order to do their jobs better and work to eliminate any obstacles that may be getting in the way of employees' success."
