A recent survey by PayScale analyzes the difference between the starting salary and mid-career payment on the basis of the salary data from this year’s College Salary Report. Here’s a list of 20 college majors that offer the biggest pay rise between early and mid-career based on PayScale’s analysis, reports Business Insider.

Government

This section observes a 118 percent increase in pay between the starting and mid-career period. Campaign Worker, Lobbyist and Political Consultants are some of the common jobs in this category.

International and Comparative Politics

With a 112 percent increase in pay, this category occupies the second spot in our list. Common jobs in this section include            attorney, activists and campaign workers.

Science

The professionals in this field get around 107 percent increments in their wages. Molecular Biologists, scientists, research associates are the jobs that you can acquire in this sector.

Government and Politics

You can work as a campaign worker, congressional aide or an attorney in this category. It offers a 107 percent increase in the wages during the starting to mid-career period of a professional.
