Bangalore: iGate CEO Phaneesh Murthy announced that all employees at iGate would get 125 percent of their variable pay for the latest quarter since the company has performed very well. Currently, iGate has about 5,000 employees in Whitefield campus, and while addressing them Murthy narrated the developments and the chronology of events that led to the final inking of the agreement with Patni along with the announcement of variable pay. He also talked about the current financial situation and the tough clinch that the company underwent during the deal and difficulties in arranging finances. Murthy is optimistic in clearing the financial crisis within 5 years time.
