Bangalore: For an outsider, being associated with media, medicine or finance field might seem amusing and highly glamorous, but the day-to-day reality of these jobs may not be entirely in-line with this perception. CareerCast has come up with a list of most overrated jobs for 2013, and surprisingly jobs from these three fields garner the top honors.

Being a psychologist is not all fun and little work. Often the profession necessitates you to put in long hours at work treating patients. And the added responsibility of building your brand, marketing yourself and dealing with the changes in the patient healthcare plans can be grueling and will take a lot away from your personal life.

In the words of Tony Lee, Publisher of CareerCast, "Psychologists are on the list because they're responsible for other people's lives and well-being", reports CNBC. And he added that, "It's a much more stressful job than people realize because of the nature of the folks you're dealing with".
