Sending a covering letter along with the resume is a must to apply for a job. So, writing a big covering letter which is more than 3 to4 paragraphs is not at all needed as the hiring managers don’t have much time to spend on knowing you in detail. Just mention whatever is very much important, especially the skills you are having that matches with the offered job and your experience. The other things which the hiring managers need to know about you can be explained during the interview session.
