Popularly recognized as UCD, this public research institute has the second largest campus area in the U.S. It is one of the members among Association of American Universities. The university extended its branch of academics in recent times. The newly added courses include law, veterinary medicine, education, nursing, and business management and medical.  

Stanford University

This private research university had a non-denominational academic structure from 1885 to 1920. Currently the fees they charge is far less compared to other peer universities for the same degrees and certificates. However, the academic structure is rigid and tough. So, if you plan to join colleges under this university, do prepare with abundant time in hand.
