A job at McDonald’s is sort of family tradition for the Bezos. Jeff and his dad both worked there, as a teenager Jeff took up the summer job that was certainly not easy.
"My first week on the job, a five-gallon, wall-mounted ketchup dispenser got stuck open in the kitchen and dumped a prodigious quantity of ketchup into every hard-to-reach kitchen crevice,” Bezos told once to author Cody Teets for the book Golden Opportunity: Remarkable Careers That Began at McDonald's. "Since I was the new guy, they handed me the cleaning solution and said, 'Get going!'”

The cause for Amazon being the best at its delivery time schedule is due to the job Bezos had taken up.
He was always a grill man, and never got to work at the cash register. The hardest thing, according to him, was keeping pace during rush periods, now we know what inspires the delivery speed at Amazon!
