A guru or a mentor would certainly add meaning to you as an individual. A mentor always leads you in the right possible way so that you can connect yourself with others and possess the attributes you want to follow.

If possible always try to connect with people from the higher ranks and bag some experience under their belt. Taking advices and insights from these people will prepare you for the job you’re looking for.

Don’t Expect What You Don’t Deserve
Finally, it’s time to ask yourself few questions, do you just think it’s the same old job? Or trying to give your best shot at present job? Or you noting down all those tips to improve yourself?

If you by any chance have these thoughts in mind that promotion is easy to get if you just work hard, well its time to erase it.  Because when you expect a promotion you should posses the desire and passion to learn new skills and work your way on to the top rather than just not making any efforts.
