Cole Porter
Following the history of Harvard's most successful dropouts, Cole Porter attended Harvard Law School from 1913 to 1914, but with sheer encouragement of the dean of the law school, Porter dropped out and joined Harvard's musical faculty, studying harmony and counterpoint.
Even since then, Porter became one of the most famous composers and musicians in American history. Some of his most famous shows are "Anything Goes" and "Kiss me Kate," which won the first ever Tony Award for Best Musical.
Dustin Moskovitz
Mark Zuckerberg's roommate at Harvard and Facebook's third employee, is also one among the dropout list who attended Harvard during 2002-2004. Having co-founded the website Facebook along with Mark Zuckerberg, he served as the chief technology officer and vice president of engineering. Dustin left social network in 2008 to start software firm Asana, but still holds a 2.34 percent share in Facebook. He and his wife started Good Ventures, which has given millions of dollars to  causes such as malaria eradication and marriage equality and other causes all over the world.
