Diploma in Paithani Handicraft and Modern Garments: In order to preserve and extend the art of Paithani handicraft, this training program is created by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. Paithani weaving is considered as the traditional trademark of various localities in Maharashtra. Therefore it is an attempt by the state government to support the craftsmen to carry on their traditional art and help them establish. You are required to pass 10^th boards to enroll for the course, it is a one year diploma program and the various topics that are included in the course syllabus are Silk work and Paithani Weaving assistance, Paithani Handicraft Theory and Paithani Handicraft and Modern Garment Design. You are required to spend 20,300 as course fee.
