The country emerges third ranked in women’s work-intimacy but it has the highest percentage of female members of parliament i.e. 43.6 percent. The country also holds a good position for women in political empowerment and also performs well on the labour force indicator as well as on the estimated earned income indicator while the net child care cost accounted for just 5.8 percent of the average women’s salary.
