Often it is seen that employees who have several years of experience mention this kind of a phrase in their resume but unfortunately this phrase demonstrate that all you did was to remain in your field. This kind of a phrase is only useful where employers need candidates with more experience beyond that it only speaks about your age and distinguishes you from others. Instead of using the word “Over” try to use “more than” 10 years of experience, this will sound better. Try to mention the titles you have achieved through the years of your experience instead of mentioning your years of tenure. Like for example if you have been a project manager try mentioning that in your resume.

You can Google this sentence and find out how many times it pops out. Most of the job seekers today borrow this kind of a sentence. You can also find this kind of a sentence in the linked in profiles as well, unfortunately this kind of a phrase are still written by major resume companies.
