My main role is to overlook the statutory and regulatory compliance's of the group and its companies, advising the board on legal and compliance issues, joint ventures, legal and statutory documentation.
Reading, listening to the leaders, attending relevant seminars, discussing with friends.
In such situation my approach is first to listen the employee in full. Half problem solved when you listen a person as it is human psychology that when a person is full of anger he want to burst out so give him chance to burst out, it will help him to ease and then as leader decide what is the correct way of dealing the situation and find out the solution of the problem. Listen, Discuss and act are the mantras of handle any issue properly.
Important career decisions
As a professional career growth and learning opportunities are the basis of taking any important career decision and I have also taken the decisions considering the same. By such decisions only I am at this stage of career in a span of 10 years of professional journey. Whether it is left my first job to continue study of CS, changes in the organisation it all helped me as well as the organisation. Some time you find that the organisation is not capable to provide you growth due to its size and capability then you need to take appropriate decisions.
one thing I have observed the upcoming management leaders are bringing fresh ideas with combination of old thoughts in modern perspectives. If I have to give any advice I will say focus on the talent and manage them properly. Be honest with the life and work and walk the Talk.
Managing personal and professional life
I try to keep things simple whether it is personal or professional life. When make any commitment ensure to that it will be fulfilled. God is gracious with me so till now able to manage things properly with ease. I try to keep myself with my root.
There are many management Gurus and thinkers who have defined the skills and qualities a leaders should have, I also believe that a leader should also posse following skills;
1. Self-discipline and must follow “walk the Talk” – many time it happens that leaders tell lot of things but they are not able to show the same in self
2. Have positive attitude and Good listener – He must listen the people and their ideas then decide what is the right
3. Provide solution not only problems
4. Prudence and Proactive - can guess about the future happening and suggest proper solutions
5. Capability to motivate the team

My views on India Technical development
Yes it is true. The same talent when workings with the companies in USA or other developed countries are delivering many new product but not in our country. The reasons I found are lack of recognition, importance talent, employer expect things granted, lack of investment on R&D and negative approach towards the in house talent. I believe when there is proper recognition and support to the talent we will also start delivering new products from our countries.
As I am from a middle class family and very close to my parents so many qualities I have taken from them. I am a big admirer of my father for his positive attitude. I learned from him how to tackle a difficult situation and be normal. The positive attitudes and thoughts always pave the way of success and it happened many time. I remember some incidences where his cool and calm approach annoyed many but later I realized that it was a the right approach to handle the situation. I also like to mention my wife Renu who always support me in my decisions.
